S. Renee:

With the economy being the way that it is and everyone cutting programs, where do I go to find customers for my services? - Joe

Thanks for your question Joe.

I have a question for you-how is the economy? In the spiritual world there is abundance! If you operate from a place of lack then expect lack. Here are 3 important steps you can take to move your business forward.

Step 1: Make a decision.
Which system will guide your life? spiritual or world system

Step 2: Know Your Value
What value do you bring to your potential client? People & companies have money for what they value. And, they value solutions to their problems.

Step 3: Learn to Listen
The person who is listening is the person with the power. People will tell you exactly what their needs are, why they need it, and will let you know that they are open for solutions. Become a person of power---ask questions and, my best advice, shut up! If this has helped you tell a friend and go to to register for my free enewsletter, the link is at the bottom of this page. Love you brother...keep your head up and stay the course.

Hi Renee!!!!

I wanted to be the first person to tell you what an awesome website you have here! There are many people like myself who want to improve their self confidence, their self image and their lives! I am going to forward the link to this website to all of my friends!

I have a question for you! Did you ever think of seeing if you can visit woman's prisons so that you can pass on the wonderful gift of love and encouragement that you have been given to woman who desperately need it? Talk about changing lives!!!!!! I think woman need a role model just as well as men do. Someone in whom they can look up to, someone in whom they can learn from! They need inspiration and courage to change their lives. Just as we do, maybe even more!

Congratulations on your new website. I will be reading every page and as always I am with you all the way!

Much love to you always,
Stefanie

Stefanie,

Thank you for being the first person to post a message. I appreciate your immediate response. And, of course, I'm thankful that you have chosen to share There Is More Inside with all of your friends…the ultimate compliment and form of support.

Stefanie, I'm glad you asked about my commitment to all people regardless of where they are in life. I recently presented several workshops in Camden, NJ. A lady, who was in attendance, is a program coordinator at a prison in Delaware. She asked me if I would consider coming to speak at the prison. I said, "Absolutely." I am waiting to hear from her. I've also received letters from several people who are in prison who have read my book. It is a blessing to be able to meet people where they are.

Stefanie, I want to celebrate you as you have celebrated me. It is clear that women in prison are dear to your heart. Please provide me with a name and an address of a person who you would like for me to send an autograph copy of my book, There Is More Inside. Please do not post this information. Send an email to srenee@srenee.com with mailing instructions.

Continue on the path, my friend,
Renee

Tonight's 3rd telecourse session on "Personal Branding: The Secret to Professional Success" (June 21) was da' nuclear bomb! This one shatters self-doubt, solidifies my identity and defines my image according to Spiritual Systems instead of World Systems, unlocks the door to the courage and confidence within, and opens up a whole new world of internal and external freedom to be who God encrypted me to be! THANK YOU, S. Renee, for your sacrifices of time in meditation, contemplation, and in preparation to deliver the revelations. Sure wish I had known, understood, and operated by these spiritual concepts when I was 18--the course of my life would surely have taken even greater turns. Nevertheless, I move forward knowing what I now know, empowered with a new set of lenses through which to view life more clearly. God bless and prosper you, S. Renee, as you continue to dive into deeper spiritual waters for our growth and development!

Soulsistah

Soulsistah,

My friend, thank you for joining me for our telecourse, "Personal Branding: The Secret to Professional Success." I am excited that you have been empowered by the information provided during this session. It is my greatest desire, my sister that the spiritual revelation about this subject will continue to bring liberation and heighten spiritual consciousness.

Continue on the path,
Renee

Spiritual Development

Hi S Renee:

We thought we would get encouragement and inspiration daily. But even if it's monthly I could use it. I look for and need encouragement sometimes, it seems daily. I was reading your article, The Invisible Man. Some of it I agree with and it applies to me, but not the part about God not being my man and husband!

Keep up the good work.

My question for you.. I have been a member of a church for 25 years and spiritually I've received all I can from this church. Almost a month ago the Lord told me it was time to leave, I said Lord where? I didn't get an answer yet. What do I do?

God has been doing great things in my life and he wants to do more but I am fearful. I, too, have been given visions for books for motivational speaking etc. I am fearful.

In three weeks I will be losing my job...this isn't the first time..it seems I am on a job for 4 to 6 years and then the door is closed, due to a contract has ended or there is no more funding for a program etc. I ask God why and he says, “Your assignment is done.” Well, my husband doesn't seem to understand and sometimes I don't either, but I trust God and he hasn't failed me yet!

Tell me! How do you get rid of the fear? I am losing a job that makes good money to getting unemployment until I find another job or whatever the Lord has for me. I' m lost for words. I just need an encouraging word from a sister who has been there...HELP!

God Bless
Caleb44

Dear Caleb44:

First, I want to congratulate you for acknowledging your fear and reaching out for an answer. Perhaps, what I share may or may not be the solution that fits your profile. What I have learned is that every person who chooses fear over faith, although not intentional, does so for many reasons. It is usually because there are situations, experiences or conditions of the past continuing to shadow them. In other words,

  • There are negative words that were spoken by a trusted source that haven’t been forgiven by you.
  • There is a past experience that caused you pain, but had a tremendous lesson; unfortunately, you see the pain, but haven’t been able to thank God for the gift of the lesson.
  • You can’t see the value that you bring to the world. Therefore, you battle with the promise, purpose, and plan that grips your soul every time you think of the possibilities.

More fact-finding would help me to help you to melt the fear and uncover the truth; releasing you to walk in complete light. For now, I share this insight.

My friend, I want to first respond to your first question about leaving your 25-year relationship with your spiritual teacher/s and being assigned to a new teacher who has yet to be revealed to you.

In your email you said, “The Lord told me it was time to leave.” Whenever I hear those words I believe them to be superior to anything that I have to say. If the Lord said it…then it is what it is. I do believe; however, when we are being guided by God, who knows us best, He is not going to give us a message that is unclear, contradictory to our needs and spiritual DNA, nor is He going to leave us hanging.

That being said, it leaves to me ask you several questions.

  • What led you to the conclusion that you had received all that you can from your former spiritual teacher?
  • What exactly did God say to you?
  • What are you currently doing to receive further instructions from God?

Now, to address your concern about overcoming fear. Fear is a real, natural human response when we are faced with the known. A great philosopher said, “We are not human beings trying to have a spiritual experience; we are spiritual beings trying to have a human experience.”

There are several things, my sister; I would like to suggest that you begin asking God for.

  • A clearer understanding and connection with yourself and your soul’s purpose.
  • Greater spiritual awareness and insight so that when you read God’s word you no longer claim ownership of someone else’s meaning of the scriptures, but that they speak to you where you are with a new, more fulfilling meaning.
  • Direction on where and how to invest in your development. You have to uncover the fear I order to to claim the courage that is inside of you.

May I suggest several resources that will meet you were you are:

S. Renee
